What's New on SOLARprepared.com?

For a limited time we are making the preview copy of the 'Safer with Solar' booklet available to our readers. This report should be a valuable addition to your library. Actually this 35 page booklet is a draft of much larger book in the works. We put this booklet together quickly because of the current economic problems and we felt that it could be of help to many people throughout the country and world. You can download the booklet in topical sections or (recommended) download the entire document. It is in looseleaf format so you can print it out and punch holes in the pages for your use. The links to Food Storage Articles on the Walton Feed site have been lost due to Walton eleminating these pages. It is hoped that these pages will be available in the future. The Tom Brown articles on the Mother Earth News links is great for the survivalist in you! Our "Be Prepared" page has several government links to help you get your family prepared for emergencies. Check out the "Solar for Emergencies" blog. for updates on all kinds of solar and preparedness topics.

The 4 pages in the free download booklet titled "A not-too-technical discussion of solar and RV batteries" should be a valuable addition to your library. We have handed out hundreds of copies of this short guide and most people find it valuable reading. It is not the whole story, but if you depend upon battery power for any reason, it will help you understand basics of batteries and keep those batteries working years longer!
